Support

Report it as an issue on GitHub. One problem per issue, please — and search first, in case someone has already reported it.

Report a bug

A report we can act on has three things in it:

  1. What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead — and any message Kaveo showed, which it can copy for you. See Troubleshooting.
  2. The version you are running, from Settings › About. See About.
  3. A diagnostic bundle: under Settings › Diagnostics, raise Detail level, do the thing that failed again, then click Export a diagnostic bundle and attach the zip. See Diagnostics.

The bundle holds recent logs, any crash reports and your machine’s details. Your library folders, servers and lists are left out, your home folder and user name are removed, and the zip lists what it left out — but an issue is public, so look inside before you attach it.

Ask in Discussions. It is also where to suggest a feature.

Open Discussions

Most “how do I…” questions are answered in the guide.

Asking for a beta key, a key that will not activate, or anything else about your licence: write to support@kaveoplayer.com. Never post a licence key in an issue or a discussion — both are public.
